MGCC 2010 Golf Tournament
Our golf outing this year is Thursday, August 19th, at
the Applewood Golf Club, 14001 West 32nd Ave in Golden. The folks there are
excited about us being there and are offering us a great value.
Seniors, those of us over 60 years of age pay $30.00, which includes cart,
for this 18 hole event. Those of you under this magical number will be paying
$38.00. This is a very nice course in a beautiful setting. They have a cart
service for use on the course and a small clubhouse/snack bar that we can
use after the event for our awards presentations and refreshments. They offer
sandwiches etc. for us as well. We should be hungry after all the effort (lots
of strokes) we use on any golf course.
If you get a chance, go play it before the August 19th event. It's always
good to know the course and I am sure the folks at Applewood would appreciate
the business.
